Description
Lipton Yellow Label Tea is a globally recognized black tea blend, first introduced in the 1890s. While Lipton produces many varieties, “Yellow Label” is their premium, full-bodied signature blend, sourced primarily from high-quality tea gardens in Kenya.
Unlike the standard Lipton tea found in some North American diners, Yellow Label is designed for a richer, more “malty” taste and a deep golden color.
☕ Flavor Profile & Composition
-
The Blend: It is made from 100% pure black tea leaves. The leaves are picked at the peak of freshness and processed to maintain a high level of natural tea “essence.”
-
Taste: Full-bodied, brisk, and slightly malty. It has a smooth finish with very little bitterness if brewed correctly.
-
Aroma: Invigorating and “bright”—the Kenyan leaves are specifically chosen for their aromatic strength.
-
Caffeine: A standard 8-ounce cup contains approximately 30–50mg of caffeine, which is roughly half the amount found in a typical cup of coffee.
